Personal Interests

Dr. Joglekar enjoys an active lifestyle with his son and daughter playing tennis and swimming. The family enjoys traveling every spring to Key Biscayne and abroad to historic locations like Athens, Paris, Istanbul, Gibraltar, Tangiers and beyond in the coming years.

Biography

Dr. Joglekar earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland in Software Engineering and began his graduate work in Software Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. After several years of work in the IT industry at the Mitre Corporation, NASA, and the DoD, Jay returned to pursue his true calling. After medical school, Dr. Joglekar developed an electronic medical record at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD while conducting a Phase II clinical trial on advanced head and neck cancers. Dr. Joglekar is Board Certified in Internal Medicine (American Board of Internal Medicine) and completed his residency at HCMC in Minneapolis, MN (University of Minnesota). Dr. Joglekar believes that a healthy lifestyle, strong mental health, and preventive approach lead to the promotion of wellness. To that end, he is currently in his second year of a Fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona.
